Submitted as panel for FanimeCon {UPDATE: 5/4}

Hey everyone, I just want to let you know that we have submitted for a panel for FanimeCon this year. We are now waiting to be approved by the FanimeCon staff. Once we get more information, we will let you guys know!

As for now, if you will be around downtown San Jose, California during Memorial Day weekend (May 24-27), definitely check out Fanime Con because we’ll be there!

The Otalkku – Episode 19

This week, Jessica has returned and will be essentially talking about her thoughts on the series from this season and what she’s planning to watch next season. Also, we’ve talked about our current plan on changing the whole Otalkku Podcast to once a month thing, moving the “main” place from wordpress to tumblr, and doing a bit more of a weekly blog space on tumblr instead. A long episode featuring all the things Jessica had missed out on the last few weeks, so lots to talk about!

The Otalkku – Episode 18

Due to a little accident last week, we were unable to get around to create a new episode. This week, due to work, Jessica will once again be unable to join us. This week, we’ll go over the list of anime I, Eugene, will be watching this summer, and our feature anime series for next season will most likely be Free! as well. These last two weeks has been a pretty exciting week for gaming (at least for us it is). It is E3 weekend this week, and with the new announcement of PS4 and the various games coming out, we’re definitely looking forward to future console gaming on the PS4/PSVita and WiiU/3DS. It’s kind of official, we will be dropping Red Data Girl from our feature anime due to the lack of interest we both have with it now. Jessica lost her interest in it at least a month ago and I’m currently at least two or three episodes behind. For the next few weeks we will probably talk about Aku no Hana, since that series to us is a lot more interesting than Red Data Girl. But for this episode, I will be talking a bit more about Attack on Titans because it’s probably my favorite series this season, along side with Valvrave The Liberator and Aku no Hana.

Hey guys, it’s a delay, but here it is, the recording from our live recording during FanimeCon Weekend. Please excuse the audio quality because we recorded the event with a camcorder, and just ripped the audio off the video. Due to unknown reasons, the camcorder was being weird and the video quality also took a hit. We’ll see if we can recover as much of the video as possible and upload what we can on youtube as promise. Return from FanimeCon 2013

We finally return home from FanimeCon 2013 and will be working on trying to take out the audio from the live panel recording from Sunday and play it for you guys. We will also put the video on youtube (it’s about 40 min long) of the panel recording as we mentioned before. We’re working things out right now and will hopefully getting everything up by tonight.

Happy Mother’s Day everyone! Chaotic and hectic weeks for us these past few weeks. Fanime is right around the corner actually and again we will be doing a live podcast there on Sunday from 9am-10am. Hope you will be there! To celebrate Mother’s Day for us, let’s talk about and appreciate some of the anime moms out there, since it’s a bit rare to see moms in anime. Finally feature anime talk Red Data Girl and a quick over view on what we’re still watching or have dropped by this point in time.

The Otalkku – Episode 14

Another short episode this week, and it’s going to stay this short for a while. Not much anime news this week, since “Free!” was announced last week and it’s Golden Week this week in Japan.

As for podcast news, we are going to be doing a panel at FanimeCon this year; we will be located in Panel Room 4 on Sunday from 9am-10am. Yes it’s early Sunday morning, but our other option was Saturday from 11pm-12 midnight and we rather not. So hopefully some of you guys can join us on Sunday morning. Also note that we will be participating in Swap Meet this year selling some stuff!

So more Red Data Girl talk as this series is starting to pick up between Izumiko and the many guys we called “what’s-his-face/name”. Please excuse us while we go and butcher all the male cast’s name from this series.
